CANDU part 2

Homework fodder.
Soo behind, its gonna be ugly.

What isotopes of uranium exist.
Uranium-238
Uranium-235
Uranium-234

What isotope of uranium is used in the CANDU Process?
Its Uranium 235

What is a half-life
Half-life is the time required for a quantity to reduce to half of its initial value. . The term is commonly used in nuclear physics to describe how quickly unstable atoms undergo, or how long stable atoms survive, radioactive decay.

What is the half-life of the isotope of uranium 235.
700 million years.

I cant find anything on the waste of Candu.
the spent fuel remains Uranium 235,
or what fuel did it use? Not asking what fucking components in the reactor. Basic components of nuclear reactors
The core of a reactor contains the uranium fuel. CANDU heavy water reactors use natural uranium, of which 0.7% is U-235, while light water reactors use uranium that has been enriched so that U-235 makes up about 3 – 5% of the total. Cant find a fucking clear answer.

Nice thats it
