Don’t know what to write about.
The WBC has long and passed. I watched as many games as I could however I missed most of the overseas games. Some notable moments in memory.. Josh Naylor definitely mvp stoked to have him on the team. And, Cal Raleigh refused to shake hands at the plate turned into bit of a joke, but at the same time, its like you opponents, i dunno. whose hero is Cal Raleigh haha. I could understand being like wow judge Im a fan meet at first base or whatever lol. But the awkward handshake at the plate is a bit of a tom green shock comedy move. Anyways handshake drama aside. Josh Naylor made some wicked plays. So its fun to have another Canadian down in the major leagues in Seattle. What else.. Dominican had a staked team honestly i thought they were going to win. Canada made it past the first elimination with a bit of a fluke but that was the furthest we made it in WBC. Cool to see Tyler O’Neill aswell and hope he progresses into a great season. Hope he has a home in Baltimore after the visit in Boston. Kind of ironic too cause 4 am was too early for baseball but today im up early af at the blog which is way less entertaining haha. What else from WBC, i mentioned Dominican was a strong team, plus they were like bros having way too much fun lol. Some other upsets was Italy team beating team USA in a random upset that was pretty funny. Then on the Japan side, they lost to Venezuela who in turn beat USA. USA beat Dominican. Yea Canada had to beat Cuba and Puerto Rico. Hey got to see Molina as a coach that was cool. Yeah WBC is great vibes, USA team stacked but maybe didnt mesh so well, then Japan Ohtani and Murakami, Ohtani wanted another Mike Trout strikeout lol. But, Japan didnt get as far as I expected so Yeah exciting year to watch bunch of new teams and faces. I think its cool another team won too. Besides the powerhouse dodgers you know. I’ll definitely be watching as long as they run em. It goes from zero to a hundred pretty fast too. Cause before you know it the pool games are over and its right to sudden death 1 game. I enjoy seeing the different teams from around the world and they better expect some heated rivalries with the americas teams cause north central america got some great ball players and its not slowing down neither. BAseball such a good community thing to have supports for baseball should be a standard.Definitely an american dream type. Have the kids going to the majors lol. From Child to the Majors. Plus you got the bbq the coolers the patio lanterns, the stadium lights. Hot Dogs.
March Madness lol, lost a bit of money gambling lol so now im just watching a few of the popular games. Dont really have a team just enjoy the tournament. Been consistently getting more into basketball NBA and NCAA.
Cardinals opening day was a hit. JJ whetherholt MLB debut HR. GOt a standing ovation. at one point Cards were down by 7, and in the 6th inning there was 14 total runs. Burleson with a epic 2-run HR. Also a standing ovation. And yeah came back for a win, although it was tense right til the last pitch. And walking runners, is never a good thing in the 9th lol anxiety fest. So it worked out anyways.
Marathon game. Super addictive. Been playing since the server slam. Want to be good, takes alot of time and stressful grinding. So I enjoy playing but gotta put like a 2 hour time limit on it for busy days. Or really grind all week then I can marathon the marathon all weekend. Im just in a post secondary slump, I have these items on my list that aren’t quick couple hour tasks. Requires planning and consistency. Long term list item. But always something I can do with good energy. So if I just start by playing marathon, i never get any other high level tasks done first. But alas the issue is being tired from other crap to enjoy the game lol. Yeah the process set some gaming guilt free time then run it.
Movies, buddy havent watched anything worth writing about in a while.
I actually cancelled the amazon prime. Auto play stopped working for about less than a day, couple hours I was so annoyed I just cancelled then and there. Yeah maybe ill get it again another day, but right now is the vote with the wallet on everything. Besides I had ideas of trying crave. But thats a funny procrastination cause itll probably take me till October cause baseball season. Any executive reading this that wants to regain my favour. Going to want the sitcoms non stop with and without commercials. Sometiems I like the commercials. If its just pharma and insurance ads or canadian political messages, buddy I will watch commercial free. I do enjoy some live tv, for taking some choice out. Then when the good live crap done hit the on demand or the youtube. If the app give you user troubles just move on. Thats another thing, buddy when I get a look at the next microsoft operating system its going to be the harshest 30 seconds judgement. If it dont pass the sniff test, I’ll be a xbox user, and forget the windows completely.
Anyways complaining is easy and dont want to gravitate to the grievance rant, not quite yest atleast or not today lol.
Theres lots of grievances, and stupid politics and politicians but they making pretty good fools of themselves. I don’t really see the need to engage really. If Once i get a finger in my face with some silly ass guilt trip attempt from some loser well then Ill consider. The public money squabblers lol. The tax tit trolls. Then ill write a funny letter. Either waste their time or ignore, and vote with the wallet. It really is a choice all this news crap poisons the brain. Yeh its like give me the facts without the narrative opinions.. Censorship. Maybe thats what I wanna write about lol. Nah im actually good. My goals and other interest and hobbies are much more important than the rhetoric of retards. The appeal of the analog lifestyle. We coulda had it, and scammers and advertisers and social media goons ruined it. So fine ill go back to vhs and cassette I dont care lol. Maybe a typewriter. Maybe Ill just write on a empty typewriter to the void lol. Jack Nicholson style lol. There is some current events however I think ill pick and choose whats important and not jump in the queue of outrage porn flavor of the day..

These game coulda been ours but we had a vote on it. That being said still fun to watch, and can sympathize with the protest crowds.
On the other hand its tradition kind of a fun thing, nothing I could ever afford. But watching it on TV.
Im super late on everything lately in my life and same goes for updating the blog, but finally got to it.
Lets see some events here, watched the opening ceremony, was nice. Not a super fan of all the interpretive dance, but thats pretty much what it is.
I liked the made up English song, MAriah Carey, like the Andrea Bocelli, it was classy , and then also the house techno party athlete walk outs lol.

Been watching the NBC, gotta love the Snoop Dogg broadcasts hes pretty lighthearted casual interviewer, but everyones eyes light up.
Whatched some slopestyle big air, seen the Lindsay vonn, Oh yea the first thing that happened was the Italian Ice skating and the interview. The Lindsay Vonn Crash. That was yesterday. Today was the Speed skating crash.
Not too much going on i’ll try to develop a commentary as I go. Still got another 12 days.
Enjoyed the luge events, yeah trying to keep up.
Womens Hockey just ended USA beat Canada 5-0..

Womens singles run 3. Thats what Im watching. Bad ass going down the track, the sliding center looks nice too.
Lots of drone action too.
Makes the sound of the olympics not quite sound the same. To be fair they only use the drone first quarter track if that. You hear the propeller buzz, when the steel on ice sound is really good through the tv, some issues on the camera work on the Fraebel run. Going really fast, this track has a couple upwards type roller coaster sections. Some bumping on the track. Anyways exciting. Everything happens so fast really see all the broadcast briefly. Like that neone lighting too

Just seen the Emily something USA sliding hit the wall then goes in at the top of the hill and sliding nearly sideways, regained control, but tense few moments to watch, as Im sure get the butterflies in the tummy lol.
After the luge comes some team skip jumping its night time. First time I seen the jumps, very nostalgic as a Calgary viewer.

Today is the 11 Feb local time 9:06 am. Seen a couple good ones already. Day started off with some Slovakia Finland Mens hockey. Now Im watching the Ladies double luge. Womens luge sandwhich. They really cruising. I like this luge track alot. I find it little comical with the insta slow replays, the thighs jiggle. Not that their overweight or anything just going so fast and the slow motion cam and alot of adjustment on the forward part of the sled. I myslef have luge’d a couple times.. haha not double but just a familiarization luge. Maybe shoulda taken that more seriously, was interesting but kind of scary to tell you the truth hahah. Thrill and speed and freedom of skiing was maybe more. Slovak run little loss of control that was intense. When I say loss of control just a temporary slide into the wall, unfavorable bounce off the wall little sideways, then kind of plant the foot down and regain control. Not sure youd really always want to use the method but must get used to the sled after a while, for me it was foreign and wouldnt go straight. Feel like i would have more confidence on a G.T. Snowracer haaha thats funny. No i like the sliding center there in Italy. It looks nice mountain background the track seems high speed and not too technical. Although the bumps into wall and sideways occured at relatively the same place. Woo Canada team really slid.Tough run for the Canadian ladies. So i guess im watching pre recorded.Thats find dont really want to spend money or go down the rabbit hole, found a couple good streams NBC. Sometimes in the past summer I remember watching the CBC, this time its Gem, not interested in paying. Maybe ill go watch it at a friends house think he has crave.. Plus been watching basketball, so Olympics is some morning activities. Wouldnt mind checking out some live, but yea its a big time difference. And Ive been on routine not really up at 3 am sometimes I am. Anyways just as the broadcast goes, I kinda like NBC. Of course its not super Canadian specific, but I see the highlights, the snoop interviews are cool. Right now is the mens single ski jump. I guess i saw the opposite sex teams, or soemthing it was man and woman combined scores. One guy really outjumped the green marker. And I guess the crazier your jump is when you take off and commit and maybe some wind and resistance factors you want out fly your opponent. THis one of the craziest olympic sports, crazier than luge.

Um anyways so makes me think of the Vancouver Olympics first . 2002 Salt Lake city, I really remember it from Vancouver and of course Canada won the mens. Anyways thought that was a bit of a historic thing the womens doubles on the home track.
Watched some figure skating nice piano, song I have stuck in my head. But ill think of it eventually.
Watched some halfpipe. The Shaun White commentaries are pretty informative so thats a cool addition. Used to have peasant vision, free thats why im not going to catch the cbc, although if I searched more pretty sure could find it. So this year can’t comment on that. Just seeing what I can find, looks like a NBC peacock with a srolling vid style commercial, triple view with figure skating, sdwe ita hockey and cze and usa curling loll triple view with the audio from the hockey game. USA network is hockey. CNBC is commerical and stock ticker. The office playing on another.. peacokc quadruple view.Nothing found in the search.

Its the Feb 12th 9:40 am local time.
Caught a bit of curling earlier. Seen the End of the Womens hockey with a 5 nil results, so thats opposite from the first game vs usa. The Cze Canada mens game is on now.
Just kind of a fun routine early for the Olympics hockey usually gotta wait till primetime except weekends. Funny seeing Crosby and Mcdavid on the same team, imagine getting injured in Olympics though and cant play in NHL again, I guess thats the risk with any tournament , maybe even like WBC, on the other hand could look at the opportunity and skills provided with that experience. And i mean just a fun thing to attend for them. For what its worth thankful to the Italian regular people that made it happen the entertainment on my tv. Already wanted to visit Italy, maybe the games will make me want to visit more. Well after this all done. Actually had a stamp collection when I was like 10 or 11 and had all these interesting stamps from different European Olympics were the memorable ones and I still remember that, and the aesthetic is somehow similar. Hard to describe in words. Nostalgic forsure, and shiny hard lines, and artistic representations of the games, with that blend of retro colors and shapes. Symbols even. If I said like a post war snowflake lol. Or maybe like 60s halloween or xmas decor.

Caught some Women’s Skeleton that was exciting. Get some pretty wild speed and corners. So i guess it was Women’s first and mens later. Get to watch some figure skating not my fave but its part of the package lol. Oh got a triple screen, shpws the figure skating , ski jump, speed skating. That sky jump is amazing, next closest thing to flying. Figure skating not much to comment on, some intense personalities thats forsure, lol and risky technical. Oh ski jump turned into double curling games. looks like Germany Italy and Can Sweden. Olympics overload haha, I remember having a few screens going at once before. Makes it interesting witht he time difference, maybe ill wake up super early and try to get some live viewing in.

This hockey exciting too. Crosby got injured it seems back to the locker room, Canada got tying goal. Lots of good chances with Mcdavid and behind the net. And some penalties, there was a puck jammed in the corned too long cze got a penalty and then another cze roughing I think it was. Alright 3rd period here. Lets get the win from behind.
Finished the hockey game it was a 4-3 Canada OT win. Canada was down by one it seemed most of the game. So that was a exciting morning. Oh and the Womens hockey gold game is Canada USA. After the game there was some Curling, isnt my favourite. Changed the channel and now its Women’s Hotdog so thats classic. Womens Aerials. Been doing Mardi Gras too lately, and being wednesday its all over, so its interesting to see how wild last night was to completely non-mardi gras on the tuesday. Streets are clean. Anyways just something else Im watching on the side. Triple flips lol aint no way im even getting close haha. I could do a front flip on a trampoline, backflip sometimes. Doing with big skis on your feet sounds crazy lol. But, super cool to watch.

Anyways first cbc broadcast watching the Women’s gold hockey finals Can vs USA after the shut out last time. Anyways they made it both to gold which isnt the case in the Mens It hink probably walk off that shut out, and got nothing but wins after. Just some back and forth so far. Not too many Olympics days left so get it in. Been catching up all the events on the Peacock So anyways wanted to check out the Canadian broadcast instead lol. Broadcasting in Olympics is big business. And you got all the characters coming out for the events.

The Women’s hockey was pretty wild was ahead by one, tied then overtime loss it was pretty devastating ahaha, ah well the ladies played tough probably one of the most memorable Olympic moments so far even though it didnt end in Canada’s favour. Wasnt much else after I remember the figure skating some hot dog aerials. Bunch of curling. Now this morning in the Men’s Hockey Canada vs Finland for the pre gold game. So more hockey left. Crosby isnt in the game, Mcdavid is Captain. Although I kinda wish it was Can USA. Cause we didnt get that at the juniors. So whatever switch it up. Any Olympics hockey is exciting, feels like the whole country watching, specially that its at a international time funny way to start the day. Well im excited for the bobsled, only less than a couple days left till the closing ceremony. The Usa Mens hockey is next after this game vs Slovakia.

Nice so Canada won in overtime, the USA game is on right now. they are winning 3 zip I believe. So other sports we got some baseball spring traiing today not olympic related. Next viewing some womend doubles bobsled so far USA in the lead. Just seen a German team make 3rd on their run. Bobsled is awesome though something you dont see everyday, not me at least. But I enjoy getting to watch at the sliding center. Yesterday had the snowing ski jump super nostalgic and winter feeling. Something about the stadium lighting and the super snowfall is nice on the eyes. Feb is sometimes my least fave month but this one wrapping up nicely. Bunch of progress and some more free time Trying to use wisely also its Olympics its a gift to be able to watch as much as I can cause i remember being a youth and a employee and just kind fo give up on olympic dreams like watching the events on tv lol, cause not everyone had cable and the adults dont want you watching tv all day. And, better watching tv probability if it was already winter. Summer olympics less so unless its raining maybe. And, as a employee cam recall a few times being able to watch some hockey but that was about it. Would be fun in person too but also would be a logistical nightmare. Hey if I had the means to make it happeb Its something Id consider, at least once. And if my city hosted it again thad be something else. These just my opinions but show me a government that makes some significant infrastructure and completions for a few decades, with a surplus and a plan then i’d be alright with seeing the games in my town again, or even energy spent towards that. But this emergency band aid solutions, and conjoined overspending on luxury and non essential frivolities ain’t it. Its like be a good city council for 20 years then do something nice. Anyways rant about hosting the games, its relavent cause it could been us and the city was trying to bid on the games. We ahd a big water main break and the news break to us that been getting ripped off for the past 20 years. Anyways guess thats just the status quo. That being said would be cool to see the COP and sliding center back in action and ski jump too. I digress. Watching the luge is more entertaining than a airing of grievances. Kinda crazy watching these rub, the bobsled looks like is about to go on its sides this one specific turn, I think its turn 9 as a guess, but always seem to bump in the wall after that sharp turn.
Appears Usa won or is winning 6-1 in 3rd . Oh no Slovakia just got one 6-2. I guess they ghotta reload the bob sled and take it back up the hill. They do that on horseback back in the day ?
I mean hauling logs on the sleds that makes sense. Looking forward to the Jamaican thats gotta be tomorrow, yes all 4 heats.

Last day olympics officially Im pretty sure, should be some wrap up events tomorrow probably. Today is the B day. Watching Biathlon, Baseball , Basketball, boxing. Could probably think of another if I tried hard. There was the Ukranian dude that had the memorial helmet, I kind of agree let the dude memorial. I know olympic themed supposed to be olympics and no politics, but you got other protests happening outside olympics I guess they just pretend arent happening, certainly doesnt get the camera crews lol. I think it was a good protest I mean isnt russia already barred from olympics. I guess what could I say.. You cant pick and choose for the olympics when you want to allow or dissalow politics. I think maybe an example from my limited experience, didnt Jesse Owens compete in Berlin, with the nazis kind of mocking the USA because of the racial discrimination. I suspect anyways the nazis were super critical of protests as well haha. Prolly shoulda let the guy slide and not made too much of a big deal. They asked him not to and refused in protest. I guess thats what the bottom line ethics comes down too. What is more important olympic dream, or a bit of sacrifice for humanity. Should also recognize wont be the same olympics with mass war. Yeah interesting battleground though lots of nuances with the IOC and the world They just need to find ways to give back more. I think the washed up thing sayin oh all these visitors attracts investment and good for the economy. And think need to do more concrete for that. Anyways just my opinions. And, if I were in charge sure let the athletes protest. Maybe the winner gets a open mic lol on the podium. These people wouldnt have jobs without the plebs, then lock the doors for a un-affordable party. On the other hand, dont blame an athlete for just keeping quiet within the rules, probably alot of sponsors for the athlete. Its like its not really the athletes platform.
It would be like Mcdavid, going on a political rant, when the Oilers give him interview and cameo time. I think its when you get interviewed or win, can drop the smart talk. Get the fame use your own platform. Anyways I can see both sides. I respect what the dude did and his no budging, but he also took a personal sacrifice. Could i expect all other athletes there to take a hit and some sort of mass protest lol. Nah some people are just there dont watch the news trying to compete have fun. And besides why is it implied the athletes save the world. I think if the one dude took a bit of a sacrifice should be a inspiration to those that can actually do something about the situtation, not just cover their eyes and say, im uncomfortable, no protests at the olympics.. nyeah.
How about once the tax payer is free from paying any of this, you can censor it all you want. Atleast we had a plebiscite lol. I just think theres gotta be a better way so that everyone can be happy and get a little of the athlete speeches so they feel like they did something on the stage, so everyone can be happy. I think it would be a great time and opportunity wasted with all those countries there and not to ask some hard questions. With such an audience. Yeh thats why Musicians do they thing too. Its respected in the music industry but not for an athlete why not. Anyways was just thinking about the womens hockey big moment, the skeleton slider. Vladyslav Heraskevych is his name. Ah so all ive seen is some biathlon and some big track mens mass start. Im really looking forward to the mens bobsled and Jamaican team, definitely fan favourites. I mean if you havent seen Cool Runnings yet go see it lol. Awesome with John Candy 88 games. Think ill watch it myself.

Came back to rant. No political messages in a protest, no political protest. Get bombarded with Wegovy liquor and political messages myself on my own country broadcast so whats the difference. So yeh I could turn it off. Just once the olympics is broadcast and shipped thats all they care about, whatever advertisements own country runs is fine. So international mini rule, to no rule. Little more clashing But all that said reflecting the games themselves nice venue, nice weather, good events the structures looked sound the athletes look like having way too much fun. Interesting contrast will be seen for the France games next in 2030 hopefully will be live viewing bloggin same as the comfort of my home. Alright back tot the hockey really need to tie it here in the second. Yankee doodle seems appropriate, Macaroni being the extravagant Italian haha. I rtemember commercials in the 90s, was like buy this toy, eat at my restaurant, injury lawyer.. Watch this show. Only small selection of superbowl style ads. Tell you as a consumer I aint getting my insurance from a place that advertises at superbowl and olympics lol. As I write this lots of hockey back and forths goalie saves, and losing control the puck in offensive zones. I think this might set the mood again for more NHL games, I suspect feel re-cahrged winning goal, as opposed to depressed and sad lol. So at the risk of the team and country having to dose up on fat pills and anti depressants. Look dont care what meds people use or prescribed. But my normal w3orld this aint it. Whats that Selina one, shes like sad, without the pill and after shes all like dancing lol. Shes already top tier athlete, but as judgementals not sure I agree with the ethics. Nice shots on net Canada. 5 on 3 for Canada lol frustrating to watch 5 on 3 is over another 26 sec power play team usa effective at penalty kill still had a few good chances. Too bad crosby aint around neither. That sucks just as a personal thing for him Im sure he would have liked to be on the ice for this big moment. I think hockey tournaments like this, get pretty rough on a guy, specially some slavic aggressive team no chance of winning so just play physical and try to injure everyone. Probably a mixed bag.

Ah what a finish.So its a old news but team Canada lost in a shoot out overtime, lol wildest hockey game. Was a nail biter forsure. And lots of edge of your seat hockey. so usa scored 1st. Canada scored in the end second. Then it was just back and forth all 3rd Canada more shots on net. Then the overtime goal haha, same as the Womens game. Anyways kinda disapointing but also was a hell of a game cant win em all, lots of emotion with the Crosby out. USA hadnt won goal since 1980 so thats quite the win for em. Canada I grew up on Canada winning every other one. And the junior tournaments, and the womens hockey, I have lots of memories. Was kinda fun some epic high tier hockey rivalry. Feels uniting even if we lost. And, I had fun, only ones that it really sucks for is like Crosby and Mcdavid Marchand. Those guys gotta be pissed. Anyways we (me and my friends watching) all supported team Canada win or lose. Just makes waiting for the next re-match more exciting. We do get WBC, but yea thats not going to happen haha. I just hope we win our bracket beat the blue jays. Anyways I’ll write on that later why not. Love WBC. what esles is there to say about hockey nothing really. Let the fans have their moment. I seen some bad winners usa fans and some sorry losers Canadian fans, just let the fans have their moment they won fair and square. There was the too many men on ice lol that didnt get called, everyone was pissed, then a double minor high stick 4 mins seemd super harsh but the penalty kill was good and a USA penalty rigth after, So the 3rd period was super exciting and fast. As a fan cant ask for more. Fun fan interactions, nothing negative but damn that one stung haha. It was nice of the USA team to bring the Gaudreau fam and jersey on the ice. Something for the NHL community and for them, being friends and all, tragic. Don’t drink and drive. Then the locker room party too , ah fuck em and let em have their party. There was a eagle eating a goose image all over the internet, lol I think thats little offensive, whoever made that one wasn’t too bright. Clout chasing; Ay atleast it a hockey joke and not genocidal or mocking the dead. Kind of clever. The other one is the machine gun wtf is a kilometer, thats kinda hilarious. I still like my american friends can take a joke. Now all the players go back to their respective teams lol. Will Toronto be miffed, is auston matthews a team usa hockey plant. lol now thats the joke. Will the penguins fans be pissed if Crosby all broken. Unlikely. Just would be kind of neat to see the alternate universe where nhl teams, you have have to be from that city area. Just to see what thats like for a few days. And do the same for politicians lol. I dunno won some bronze curling, Im very uninterested. I mean i like the sport even played it a few times. But watching on tv is some cancon is the just the boringest thing on TV. I think its cause when theres curling on I always want skiing or sliding sports. I do appreciate it, Its just not a tv sport for me. Altough the funny thing is watching in person would be harder to keep score and worst angles to see the action so TV is really best bet. I dont know. I cant elaborate more on why im like that. Its a few days after Olympics. Watching the internet about the US hockey team at the Oval Office. Theres some mixed reaction, this happened before too with football. Anyways all ill say is my opinion, is why expect the athletes to follow some kind of organized protest the average commenter wouldnt do themselves. If you want to protest win the gold then deny the invite, in which the womens team did with a professional statement. Which is fine too. For alot of these guys probably boyhood dream be at the white house for winning sports. They had it on the Forrest Gump as a all american experience. Even though Im miffed we lost, If they want to protest and not show up go for it. This is from the olympic viewpoint. I just find this idea that being selfish sometimes is bad. Or that if you dont join the mass protest by sacrificing you may or may not fully agree, you aint real. Some people atheletes might have a different hill to die on for values. Look at the Kaepernick protest career ruiner. So when you got the contract, you expected to be proffesional, participate in these sorts of events, and leave your emotion at home. Its like work. These people expect these guys with families to flail about and lose the golden goose. You’ll get ostracized, labelled bad attitude. And, im sure they do have opinions and grievances just not airing their dirty laundry. In turn though if someone wants to individually do some activism, like the Ukrainian fellow. Thats a personal choice. And much more effective than I dunno flailing to take your team down. Team entity maybe thats the difference. Like a ship mutiny lol. I just feel like im observing the normalizing such high excpectation athletes do all the world activism, while they technically have the most to lose, while those with not much to lose, arent held to same standards. Or maybe its the story telling and how these athletes are some awesome and idolized and charity this mcdonalds kids that. And theres another disconnect community action, yeah sure they have the means. Does someone dissaprove the hockey team they infact do more charity than the organization I doubt it. Anyways Ive done Olympic commentary before. Im a little bit better prepared with a twitter and a Cable subscription instead of variety links but I will also be searching the interwebs for some rando events.
On Tv 2 I got Fij vs France Rugby. Fij Winning 12-5 so far.

Just watching this opening ceremonies, pretty wild.
Ok So the started the White dude riding the metro with torch, passed it off to some kids, Kids get on a boar with the Assasin creed guy.
The assasin Creed guy proceeds to run through the parkour streets.
The Boats of all the countries Theres just so much going on. They had the giant choreographed splash zone dance. The Building covered in Gold Sprinkles. Umm. You got the Les miserable set, and Notre dame with Parkour. Oh yea Lady gaga in a lady flamingo type performance. Then it was Les miserables, on the streets of Paris and inside too. Then its a building with Marie Antoinette decapitated body singing, Then it turned to Metal, with Guitarists and Metal Band rocking out through the window. Then It was weird love triangle with men with make up in the library, being all suggestive lewd ripping up classic french books lol. Then it was the people on springs swinging around and gymnastics. Finally the parkour guy lit up a channel and the whole building pretty much exploded in fire works. then it was a famous french singer solo, with a whole marching band kinda jamming out made me chuckle. Oh yea Canada got pinched using Drones vs New Zealand team, 2 subordinates being sent home, and there was a arsonist attack on The high speed rail in Paris.

Um wow that was a lot to process, kind of like Les Misearbles cross with superbowl halftime on steroids. The whole city all choreographed. Meanwhile every country has a boat country party all the athletes look like they having the time of their lives lol.
Couple chuckle moments, this is a big production. Its funny to see all these people dancing and choreography together. Probably the wildes thing Ive seen on TV for a while. Also its raining so everyone is getting soaked. Back to a cut of the pianist, and the Assassin creed guy is doing another cut scene museum and a hole in the floor. All these athletes going to get a cold from the rain, and forsure lose their voices from all the screaming they are doing lol. Im Watching on NBC which said no commercials, but they only split screen commercials. I dunno NBC is pretty reliable. Why would I listen to CBC trash, like seriously. Link isnt even working. After CBC bashing Canadians for god knows how long nah Id rather get second hand footage, then deal with bias. I guess thats kinda cool about the olympics, the sports not the politics, although it is or can be super political. I mean with Jesse Owens and Berlin Pre WW2 and the Racial discrimination he faced in the USA But did really good at the track and field.
Ok thats enough for me I think I watched enough. Good show, lots of variety, was like switching every moment to some kind of new parade scene.

Had a ok time watched some Swimming. variety of other sports, some arena volleyball.
Watched some mens swimming semi finals, Womens swimming semi finals, seen Summer MAcintosh win Silver swimming. There were no Canadians in the Mens. So and Gold went to Australia. Internet is all busted up over the what I would call a lewd fashion show, with the bearded lady and the provocative displays. I would have suggested its just artsy fartsy lewd fashion show. But apperently on the internet been given a name of the Transvestite last supper. Just insulting Christianity apperently. meh. Seriously I just though it was a edgy fashion show I didnt even put together the last supper reference until later. And, heres a new one too. The cool mechanical horse with the olympic flag, the woman in the metal asssasin creed suit, is apperently the lone pale horseman of the apocalypse. So thats news to me. Um well with symbolism. I dont think the Olympics represent death. The Horse was mettalic, then grey. So I dunno its a stretch. Yea it was a hooded figure. Religious people so freakin offended by everything. So as a kid, I remember watching the olympics at either my grandma’s house or My moms aunt house. The folks would be like go play outside, but all me and my cousins wanted to do was watch Olympics. So as an Adult, its really like on of my super joys is just going hard on the Olympics. its only happens every 4 years. And as for the politics of it, dont really want it in my town lately. HAd it in 88. It was good for the city, but now, Id be kinda pissed if the city spent on that shit. Canada is in need of less flashy showbiz politicians and more infrastructure type growth. Awesome Skateboarding is a Olympic sport, and why not. Skateboarding has always been a fave. More of the park style than half pipe but I do enjoy some Tony Hawk Hes rteally the definitive name when it comes to Half pipe for me. I remember when he did 900 that was unprecedented, not people pulling it off much more common. Theres also surfing, similar but also totally different. This in French Polynesia. Last I was watching was some Fencing. There was some big breaks in Rugby. Some Soccer. Currently live is the The Gymnastics Finals highlights. I know Simone Biles won again shes the most decorated Gymnast ever.
Which is pretty cool watching history. So just slowly catching up here. Ill stick to the NBC for a while.

Well another day its currently 12:49 am On the Aug 1 Paris time. So that means just watching the days highlights, while waiting for the live. Theres so many events even if you were there in person with a porta TV you couldnt catch them all lol.
Anyways on the NBC live feed its Womens beach volleyball France and USA One of my favorite events, Hot bodies Its 3rd match point oh Snoopd Dogg is there. lol. That was Hughes Cheng Im pretty sure. lol Snoop Dogg is definietly a highlight of these games. Hes having so much fun. I seen him try to qualify for a running event too. Way to be a gentleman and a scholar. Out there reppin Team USA having fun at his age. Hes wearingt he funniest clothes too. lol ah just makes me laugh. I know him most from NWA and rapping so its funny to see his show a few years ago and now at the Olympics. Hey one day if I get a chance would definitely go cheer team Canada at a bunch of events, that seems like a rich person activity, and well even If I did have the money I think Id rather do World Baseball Classic first. No Baseball olympics this year. There should be but lack of infrastructure. Plus bad time for the MLB season. That would be a tough choice. The bunny hop fencing highlight. Some USA Australia Soccer. Um for today, got a Womens Soccer Usa vs Japan, in about 45 mins. Got Canada vs Germany womens soccer in about 4.75 hrs. YHeh going to watch the events that I can and carry on with my day. I just got the NBC feed open all the time. Who did I see Jordyn Huitema shes a Seattle soccer player that plays on Team Canada. She did an interview about shopping in Paris being underdressed in sweats whilst the locals all wearing fashions best lol. Yea even thouvgh the admin cheated Im still supporting the team. Just checking in. Been slacking a bit on the blog, so much to watch and I have personal matters to attend to. But, always got a few moments to write a para or 2.
Lets see some womens boxing controversy with gender not going to get into. The social media, always quick to point out things that offend people inspiring things not so much. Flava Flav was at CBC Canada House. Thats cool for his making the rounds. Who woulda thunk rappers and Olympic combo. Roght now on the NBC got a evening Womens beach volleyball USA VS Germany. Hot bodies lol. Those women are fit lol. Not like the Gymnast but in a different way plus tiny little bathing suits lol. Fun to watch plus competitive too. Volleyball is alot of fun to play. I kinda miss that with school the organization and the people to play big team games, as you get older, its harder to find enough friends unless you do some organized sports. Alright so still August the second 10:38 pm tomorrow early is soccer, not going to miss that. So far the USA womends winning its the Hughes Cheng team. I just yell Out ! lol. The gamble if the ball is going out or not. Nice Block Germany, and doing some nice dive save attempts.
USA won Beach volleyball vs Germany. Feed moved to JPN USA court mens volleyball. USA won the Volleyball 3-1 .
Now its France VS USA Womens Waterpolo. 1-0 in the first.

Ok Local time Paris 3:52 pm August 3. Got the Soccer open waiting for it to start, watching on Eurosport 5. Should be starting in 7 minutes. There was some Mens 10k run last night I seen. Otherwise not too much. Turkey shooter is pretty popular online lol. Just the appearance of the 3 shooters, the teched out shooter, the plain shooter, and the locked muscle joint shooter. We are live at the soccer field. Interesting to see the Euro Stream showing a few different highlights than the NBC stream. Lol this one should be good though. Its on a break I missed half already it seems 0-0. Ok second half.
Well USA beat Japan Soccer Womens. It was a 1-0 game. Got some Puerto Rico VS USA BAsketball. Pretty much tied in the Second.
Got the Can Germany Womens Soccer game on 0-0 34:45 in the first.
Welp Canada got eliminated by Germany in a shootout, was 0-0 all game.

Welp dropped the ball on the rest of the Olympic commentary. Had IRL stuff to do. Lets see some of the more memorable ones, the Chinese young lady biting the silver in the Gymnastics was wholesome. The Breakdancing began, the Australian Dr was doing some weird moves. Canada won the gold on the Breakdancing mens. The closing ceremonies was yesterday. They had a giant polygon shaped world . Tom Cruise had a zip line stunt, with a motorcycle scene to a aircraft parachute scene bringing the flag back to Los Angeles. Hey can’t win em all. I enjoyed watching what I could. I would have watched more, if I didnt have IRL stuff to do that took up a weeks time. Wow Milan Italy thats the next winter games. Looking forward to it, and hope can look back on time since 2024 to 2026 as a positive pleasant time. Looking forward to the ski jumping and the skeleton and luge bobsleigh events.
