Been a minute since I visited the blog.

Theres been a update and Im just tinkering my way through here.
With the box for the wordpress tools, not visible.
Anyways If I publish the post as per usual seems easier to edit, in the way I use this.
In my posts usually the 3 underscores marks a point updated. And, I generally dont edit many old posts, except for maybe a entertainment list or the stooges references in pop culture.
___
Yeah I have to do this as the draft and saving just isnt as consistent as I’d like and if Im going to write something nothing more frustrating than losing all your text.
Just really brutal. Its 2026 draft shouldnt take 5 mins to save. and error out when you hit update.
Anyways still a tool I’ll try to bash my way through the procedure and see where I get.
Point of this was a quick log of some of the films I seen this year.
mostly in order lets go. 2026.
Super Mario Galaxy
Mission Impossible 30th anniversary ’96
Fight Club 4k Remaster
Mortal Kombat II
Gundam Hathaway part 2
Star Wars Mandalorian
Back Rooms
Masters of the Universe
Furious
End of Evangelion
Odyssey
Spiderman Brand new day
End of Oak Street
Coyote vs Acme
Akira 4k re release
Holy shit everytime you hit update it crashes to page not found, then forces you to reload the cached back up.
Well sweet this should be fun.
Just super fuckin annoying trying to concentrate on one thing and dealing with troubleshooting garbage that used to work.
I though it was a update, not a debilitating move backwards.

Oops that page cant be found.

Alright sweet well thats fuckin annoying try to go write the movie log instead im fighting with an update I dont like.
fuckin software, its like windows 11, relearn everything, click the button here instead. Works less than before sweet update bro.
Alright anyways Im just going write and ill copy paste on a notepad so I dont lose the writing in a oops page not found!
alright fuckin movies.
Top movies so far in my preference
MK II
Furious
Mission Impossible and Fight Club were nostalgic in theatres.
Lots of mid movies I enjoyed, but really nothing to write home about.
Its like yeah I laughed at a few scenes at He man, and it was entertaining to watch but limited replay value.
Backrooms was one of the more interesting ones, bunch of good actors, just in a room with not much to go off on the background stories of the franchise or the characters, and despite me wondering how they make a movie about that youtube. It turned out pretty good.
Yeh I mean just the pool of the mid movies, Mario Galaxy it wasnt as good as the first one, but little bowser was good mean villain you know haha.
That Gundam Hathaway was pretty cool, just the detail and scenes were appealing, it was like tropical and Ayers rock. The characters were really like ridiculous in a sense, but it played with some cool ego things and love triangle but at the surface its a little chidlish and un believable.
And who knows maybe it is a funny commentary about some super general of the fleet, but hes finger wrapped by the ditzy over bubbly zero personality eye candy. Yeh maybe that is realistic lol. And while im on it the main character is like a professional rich and desirable to the women. The contrast is hes the main arm of a terrorist entity with a super indestructible gundam. Anyways whatever its presented, if its more childish or teen or adult themes ill probably check it out. Just for the culture shock on my end. Its exotic right and methods of story telling im unfamiliar with.
Lets see all seen Akira, as my second time seeing it recently its a neat piece.
The violence is there yea, but theres more to this movie. Its classic right. What other piece has the vintage motorcycle gangs, and the destruction.
Another one was Death of Evangelion, yeah super weird abstract piece.
End of the world type shit, and more adult themes, Gotta say Hathaway more of a pilot I relate to than Evangelion.
Anyways, it was a weird abstract piece, with more dream like states. I dunno sometimes its like the super pilot just crying and self loathing aint for me. Its cool though I read the studio wasnt able to finish the project like they wanted so they were able to redo it as a finale properly which is cool. I guess Wes Anderson really likes the movie, and I thought that was interesting piece.
Hathaway just gave lots of gundam time and the cockpit scenes were rad. Hate to compare the two like that, but thats the tangent im on.
End of Oak street was good.
Furious was nearly the best though, wasnt expecting anything. And, just get your socks rocked off by the action. It was like a modern Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Safe to say if when theres more kungfu in a dark or comical setting I’ll be checking it out.
Thats about all.
Yeah it was fun to see Odyssey, but the 70mm was a pain in the ass, I dont think every movie going to get the 70mm attention.
Novelty, almost 3 hours long lol.
That was an experience.
Spiderman was just as fun.
Practical effects and the big movie was fun.
Some of the acting was funny. just move the actors from Odyssey to Spiderman lol.
I dont care Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland are great.
Dune 3 pass though lol.
