Missed a couple on my Mel Brooks list. High Anxiety. Im glad a missed a couple cause was kinda sad when i came to the end of the list. Got a bunch of movies on the list but wanted to do this one for Mel Brooks and James Cinemassacre. Just my late night ambitions of being a movie critic ‘free thinker’ although i take recomendations these ones are at the top. Even recommended these to my mom.

Poor regular german people having to deal with the trauma maybe a sligth majority inflicted. I met many germans, very intellectual wise hard working people. And with sense of humor. Cant judge a book by its cover. Nah i like the Germans i met. But i guess after gaffes like that your subject of the worlds ridicule for 50+ years man. Judged byut he actions of a few, not the end result. Metaphor. Cause germans sure got their asses kicked end of WW2, have you seen that footage stalingrad, and the fall of Berlin. Pretty horrific, anyways i digress, and not to make any simplicities with the holocaust neither takes a good sense of humour to see the humour. I could see this already being offensive to many. Although not my time period not my trauma. Man if you cant take a joke after slaughter like that. Cant spell slaughter without laughter. lol. I digress #2.
This making just a mockery of the alfed hitchcock types. And Alfred im sure he was down. He probably had a good laugh along with Lucas and all the others he crossed paths with. Lol 4th wall camera breaks thru glass, excellent. I already freakin love this movie. No one makes movies like this. The studio is probably like wtf no! This goes against everything we believe in as a studio.

Id be like youre trying to heal me, yo . You need to go on maury for a life and body makeover. Just the scariest nurse you ever seen. Lol good acting though cause thats wretched. I love the just brazen mocking of mental health in this. Cause i guess once your in the institution your done like dinner. Reminds me of the river view hospital i bet the patient recovery was nil there too. Well better in a big house than on the street right. If you cant prove your not insane, then toughluck. Insanse asylum is such a dark setting, damned if you do damned if you dont. Just praise the lord im not in that horrific situation . I seen those places. Some people have mental trauma , say feed em fruit cups and let em play board games. One flew over the cuckoos nest. At a point you must start just to pretend, while sycophants have their way with you.

Re: the private Pyle character, and Joker.
Joker is smart, and witty, he gets busted a couple times. The Drill Sergeant almost respects that.
Pyle is the massive fuck up that gets ostracized. Hes really one of the better actors going through that role.
The drill instructor, makes joker the thinker apply his methods to pyle which is ironic to be a automaton you need to think.
Pyle somehow break through which woulda made Joker happy, but Pyle has a existential (crisis within sucess) and suicides.
Its just a mind fuck, and the theme of vietnam, and that drill hall. Just makes for a bit of a nightmare.
theres some lose comedy, its a army classic, but the shits still fucked up.
I dont envy those young guys and that period of history in no way.
Its shocking but its good film.

Id say 4/5 of these critic reviews are absolutely pathetic, and 1/5 are intellectually composed with atleast a 10 min effort. The rest trash. i should donate my time to the void and correct these critics lol ne by one wouldnt that be funny. Bruh I had no issues writing a little 1200 word clay reacts text. And i personally enjoyed every minute of it. Who cares if im a fan of cheesy movies, i dont need fake trauma to give me fake sense of feelings.

Allright partially watched this gotta finish it off. Oh i seen this as a kid but its been since that long. Im impressed to see Richard Lewis, and Dave Chapelle. Movie starts off at the end of the crusades, Robin Hood captured, Oh yea Isaac Hayes is in this pretty old school. Im almost at the end of the Mel Brooks films. I got another one to watch its, “Top Secret” Looks like the early hotshots, starring Val Kilmer, just looks ridiculous completely my style. Anyways the Robin hood movie so far its funny not much else to say. I like Robin Hood the story, disney and classic, and parody. What strikes me is these neat scenes with lots of people and action. They dont make movies like that anymore. Not with the whole village on set.

Richard lewis plays a good king. Every scene is just so comical its not doubt this is a classic. Movie just makes me happy. Id love to see a Bravehart spoof william wallace done in this fashion thatd be great. Exit sign ahahah. Thats classic. Voice impressions of Churchill ahaha. Is that Malcom X now wow. Looks right at the camera 52 min. Hehe that witch and the sheriff is just the funniest romance. Lol Mel brooks comes out riding a wagon ahaha. Ah sweet its Dom Delouise, hes such a good actor, here hes portraying the godfather. Nothing is off limits in this 90s spoof. Its an amazing cast. Patrick stewart in this. Dom Delouise fave character in this so far, besides the Robin hood. Lol just a savage character lol. Outstanding. hahaha the Clap on lights thats so 90s. Love seeing horses in movies. Aslong as they werent hurt. Dangerous profession for the horses. Something you dont see too often anymore. Musical number thats nice lol. Some comedic relief. This movie is the absolute best. Robin is suave lol. Theres a good laugh every 2 mins or less ahaha funnier than funny.

Tim allen hoots in the archery contest thats good pop culture. 4th wall reading the script in the film, i love it. Now the crowd and the Atlanta braves chop thats hilarious. Im loving it. Patriot missile arrow wow. Its buddy from space ball the princess dad. I love the sheriff and the Maid Marien interactions the Sheriff is the perfect villain hes so cheezy and maid mairien is so funny. Great characters, hes the perfect creep villain and shes hilarious. ultimate star is Robin hood, dave Chappele and the King. then the sheriff, blind guy and witch. This movie is just simply the shit, its pretty much a perfect movie. Perfect action, comedy slapstick, romance, fantasy. The dude with a bagel on set very simpsons esque. Just mocks showbiz a bit. Life savers, omg thats a riot. The witch is a great character. Oh yes Mel Brooks. Mel Brooks is just the epitomy of hilarious. Omg Patrick Stewart what a wonderful ending. Im so happy to see him in this. Its a good surprise. i never thought id see a scene with Patrick Stewart and Richard Lewis thats gold. Its a line from a previous movie. Gotta love Mel Brooks some of the bets movies ever made. Aw and he gets the girl. Shout out to Blazing Saddles this movie almost as good as blazzing saddles. Fantastic.
Fuckin love this movie, that was 10/10 I wish they still made movies like this. Mel Brooks is a legend. Did such a tribute to an old story. Its hilarious but equally awesome. Epic 90s fest. Just great cast hilarious acting, good crowd and fight sequences. Good cameos, good jokes. Good music. Thats probably one of the best comedies ever reviewed on the blog. I bet everyonbe that was in this film or worked on it is just super pleased with the results. Good special effects, and limited. I freaking love this movie. Well done. ! Bravo. I only wish there was more, im sad its done.

Movie came to my attention after learning about ‘Marjorie White’ Canadian actress, Womans haters club ‘stooges first episode was her last performance. Died in a car crash. Pretty sad actually. Gotta watch this one for Marjorie! Well she was young beautiful, from Winnipeg. This movie , a 30’s sci fi take on the 80’s the future. Thats why i had to see it . Ill get back to Mel Brooks shortly.

Brooksfilm thats like Lucasfilm in a way. Made some Mistakes about the burbanks scenes. This was all pretty much LA, Culver. Teddy Wilson, Lesley Ann Warren Rudy De Luca that was good. 22% on Rotten Tomatoes thats hilarious, was much better than that. The jokes are on pint the women are 80s sexy, the special effects are pretty good. I just gotta say seeing John Candy on film again brings such a heart warming feeling back to the ol Clay. He was in Cool runnings. Home alone. Thankyou John Candy for your contributions to my nostlagia and entertainment. I never knew how much youd be missed, and at the same time very gratefull for what you did for my life. John Candy just the happy go lucky guy. Neverwould you see him upset or raise a fist at anyone, rather be a disarming type and make you smile instantly. Yeh i dunno im not sure how much i can write about space balls. i made some connections last nigth though to some epic movie tracks. First the dink march, was really colonel bogey march.

Ok well spaceballs, they represent the gluttunous corporation types. First you see Michael Winslow, Id recognize him anywhere, i can just describe him as the beatboxer from police academy, but he was so much more he was a comedian, and a original beatboxer, so thats dope. And, Rick Moranis really kills it, as helmut, just the most nerdy villian. Everything in is just so stupid. This movie was kinda ruined for me by excessive cable tv play back in the day, but really im glad it was burnt into my brain cause as an adult its so damned funny. Yeh my favorite is the space ship jokes, like the bumper sticker, we bake for no one. The president and hist lustrous affairs, oh yea, omg those twins are pretty 80s sexy. Thats a bit odd for me to mention but i guess i dont really care. Theyd be older women forsure but dressed up on the big creeen and seeing em now, theyre like some retro playboy centerfolds. Cause you aint gonna see that hairstyle nowadays, or if you did people be making double looks and laughing so no self respecting woman gonna go through that. Ok costumes, great effort on costumes, set, more painted visual backgrounds as per history of the world. This movie also breaks the 4th wall to the extreme, they even open up a VHS of themselves.
Pizza the hut is nasty, the Shwarzt is some jewish over kill comedy. Um Yogurt, is some extreme face painting, i think ou can tell mel brooks on in knees to looks like a short person. The princess bitchy but thats what makies her special, barf is just lovable, its got a heavy metal aesthetic, some rock and grungy. I dunno its an aesthetic that is frowned upon these days, although it used to be super cool. Its like breakfast club to the extreme. Yeh i dunno special effects are hollywood top notch, although its a film tha doenst take itself seriously at all. But thats what makes it so unique . Anyways its funny who would dare to make fun of the legendary star wars, lol. well as a comment who needed to after episdoe 1-3, id be embarrassed if i was in that. Just like the growth period of special effects green screen, it looks so much better back in the day. Like yea i like some nice special effects, id say like godzilla the neon one, fuck that was some sick special effects, that movie kept on giving. But i like the winnebago cruising thru space and the tron effects. Its much better than some mediocre cgi from nowadays. Its like remember Greedo you could see the foam from his suit. Yep the droid dot matricx and barf even. Its just nasty looking costumes, and facepaint but it seems to be irreplicatable now. Sure just for comparison sake, you got the predator invisble effect, but thats just exploiding a photoshop technique whilst mel brook dressed as yogurt is a disgusting amount of cheap facepaint, it even looks bad, hes chewing some nasty green shit. yeh breaking down the 4th wall its such a silly thing but it makes for a really smart movie in a way, cause its not something you see everyday, also adds an amount of stupidity or sillyness you cant recover from but its done nicely in the mel brooks films, just makes you laugh out loud cause youre in shock basically. Alright well i got mut much else to say, im pleasantly surprised i liked revisiting this more than i thought. I always was like meh spaceballs, now im like yeh! spaceballs!
